Making sure to wash your hands properly. But one thing that might not so obvious is sterilizing your pulp in your paper mill. We would like to friendly remind our existing customers of what powerful tool they possess in a KRIMA Hot Dispersion System. Pressurized vessels that will allow the pulp reaching temperature up to 120°C (248°F) to determine all bacteria and spores.
The key feature of hot dispersing is treatment with high temperature at high pulp consistency. This leads to many advantages: improvement of fiber properties, reduction of bacteria, and softening of dirt and tacky contaminants for more efficient dispersing. Retention time is 2 minutes at a temperature of up to 120°C (248°F).
