Our solution

On March 1st, 2021, Cellwood Machinery AB acquired the Swedish company Metrans AB.

Through this acquisition, we now have the ability to offer our customers the full product line of Metrans. We can also seamlessly combine these products with our Grubbens equipment for pulping and broke handling.

The Metrans product range includes equipment for bale, broke and roll handling as well as other auxiliary equipment for both virgin pulp and recycled paper.

When it comes to Bale Handling, Metrans can supply complete lines with conveyors, de-stackers, de-wiring of large and single bales and metal detection.

For broke handling, we have a strong range consisting of various solutions for broke conveyors, for under Dryer and Paper Machine positions, as well as different broke guillotines and roll slitters.

Bale handling solutions

Our pulp bale handling systems exemplify the high-end technology and expertise we can offer the pulp and paper industries. Our bale handling systems, coupled with versatile control designs, offer the flexibility to manage advanced recipes with different pulp grades.

Recycled paper handling solutions

Our durable and dependable, recycled paper and board, dewiring unit automatically removes wires from recycled bales of various types and dimensions. To boost plant capacity, the unit also splits the bales before feeding them into the pulper.

Roll up conveyors

The Roll-up conveyor collects the broke and discharges it into the pulper at a suitable time, primarily used on machines producing lighter grades. After discharging the broke, the conveyor belt is returned to the collection position.
